Requesting Letters of Support
We are planning to renovate our large timber-framed barn to offer classes and hands-on workshops in homesteading skills, modern small farming techniques, the native Appalachian ecosystem and growing mushrooms.
Does that sound interesting to you?
We are applying for a USDA grant, and part of it requires proof that there’s interest in our plan to restore and improve the barn and invite lecturers.
If this is an idea that you support, please send us a letter to include in our grant application.
The number of these letters is more important than the length of each letter.
The 3 requirements: First, Print your name and address at top of the page or use your business letterhead. A general “To whom it may concern” will work fine as a greeting.
Second, Use “Greenwood Farm” and “support” in a sentence within the letter and say why.
If you have enjoyed learning with us in our groups, please include that detail! If you would like to offer a class, include that information! Collaboration for the sake of our community and ecosystem are the goals.
Lastly, the bottom must have your signature.
You can mail it to us: PO Box 35 Millville PA 17846 Or email a pdf version here: GreenwoodFarm570@gmail.com
Deadline Oct 24th
Everyone is welcome to send us a letter of support, no matter where you are, or the reasons why. Thank you very very much for your help!
